MAN: Did you hear Mrs. Kowalski is moving to her daughter's place in Halifax next month? WOMAN: I did. Thirty years on this street. We should do something for her. MAN: I was thinking a small party in the courtyard. But she hates being the centre of attention. WOMAN: Then let's not call it a party. We could say it's the usual building clean up day, and when she comes down, everyone's there with food. MAN: Smart. I'll handle the chairs. Can you ask the building manager if we can use the courtyard on Saturday? WOMAN: Sure, but Saturday the forecast is rain. Sunday afternoon looks better. MAN: Sunday works. I'll print a note for the other units, but I won't put her name on it, just in case she sees it.
